BY PLANE

From Catania airport ("Fontana Rossa"), you can:

 

  • Take an intercity bus (length of the ride: approx. 1 hour)
  • Take a taxi. Taormina is about 60km from Catania airport.
  • Hire a car. Take the A18 motorway that heads towards Messina. Take the “Taormina” exit and follow the directions for the "town centre" (approx. 2 km). Once you reach the town centre, go straight towards “Castelmola” until you see the sign for Hotel Villa Ducale.

BY TRAIN

Trains that connect Rome and the North of Italy with Siracusa and Agrigento stop at the "Taormina-Giardini Naxos" train station, which is approx. 5 km from the centre of Taormina.
From the station, you can take the bus or a private taxi to reach Villa Ducale.

BY BUS

The "Interbus" bus company connects Rome and the main cities in Sicily with Taormina.

BY CAR

From Messina or Catania, take the A18 motorway and exit at “Taormina”, then follow the directions for the town centre (approx. 2 km). Once you reach the town centre, go straight towards “Castelmola” until you see the sign for Hotel Villa Ducale.  
The Hotel also offers the valet – parking.
